Playing at shepard park in Lake George is a nice experience not matter what is going on. But, with the crew from Improv Records and Millis-Robbins productions….we made it into a real show!

So many nice folks came out and we got to meet a ton of friends from Facebook too! I cant say enough good things about this event though, the vibes was positive, it didnt rain, JT Maple and Jay white were fantastic…Thank you, for a real good time!

We all love the Jerry Garcia Band and family and sharing the music that we love is a wonderful thing. Jerry Garcia liked so many different songs and bands and thats one of the things that made the Jerry Garcia Band special!

Over the next few months we will be working on creating some great sets of reconstructed Jerry Garcia Band shows for your enjoyment. If you have a favorite Jerry Garcia Band show, let us know and we will make it one of our sets coming up!

We are also planning some fun surprises with tunes that Jerry Garcia might have chosen for the Jerry Garcia Band to play….What? Do we have a crystal ball? How can we choose these? Well, we do our best to find music that would have been a good fit and sometimes its a song that just seems like it would be fun to hear the Jerry Garcia Band play! Got any ideas for those tunes? The Garcia Project has lived on Facebook for just about a year now. We love being able to communicate with our friends and fans on that platform, but we also see a need to have a place where we can store all of our media and do some more things that work better on a web site.
